I have developed a new shorter workshop for prior workshop attendees. This workshop focuses on making smaller, 2×3″ mosaics that can then be made into cards. Here is a brief description of the workshop:

Gift Making Jumpstart!

Come spend a morning or afternoon (or both!) in the studio and get a jump start on your gift making for the year. The studio will be setup just like the full Mosaic workshop, and includes iced tea and light snacks. In this workshop, we will complete two 3.5″x5.5″ Chiyogami/Washi Mosaics, which we will mat so they are ready to be given as gifts (frames not included).  You will have the option to warm up with one 2” x 3” mosaics that can be made into a card. The course fee includes all materials to create 1 card and two 3.5″x5.5″ mosaics, cardstock, envelopes, the mats and backboards. Frames may be available for an additional fee at the workshop, or we can place your mosaics in cellophane so they will be ready for wrapping. Spraying will occur every ½ hour, with the final spraying occurring ½ hour before the end of the session. As with the original workshop, you can finish your cards, tidy up your work area or shop while you are waiting for the last of your mosaics to be sprayed and aired out.

Separate morning and afternoon sessions will be held. Join me for both and a complimentary salad bar lunch is included. Call (707) 546-4550 to register.

  1. My friend Peggy took a class from you last week. AMAZING! I was wondering if you will be having any more coming up? Your workshops listed on the website are 2015 dates… Peggy would do it again she said.

  2. I had a wonderful time at the workshop last Sunday. I think you are absolutely the best teacher I have ever had for this type of class. You do make things seem so effortless — it truly is a way of joy! Thank you for all the many years you have put into this experience and for being willing to share your wisdom and story.
